Billing & Insurance
Doyle Speech and Beyond is considered an out-of-network provider. We are happy to provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Every plan is different, so we recommend checking your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider beforehand to understand what may be covered. If you have any questions, we are happy to help guide you through the process!

Every child develops at their own pace and has their own strengths and challenges. As a parent, you know your child best, and we're here to help guide you. Yes. A formal speech and language evaluation is a critical first step in understanding your child's communication strengths and challenges. Evaluations help identify your child's needs and set personalized goals for their speech and language growth. If your child has received a formal speech and language evaluation with a written report within the past six months, a new full evaluation may not be needed. However, if you plan to submit for out-of-network insurance reimbursement, your provider may require a more recent evaluation from our private practice.

Absolutely! The qualification requirements for Early Intervention and school-based services are different from private practice speech therapy. Those programs have strict eligibility criteria, meaning a child may not qualify even if they still have areas of communication difficulties. At Doyle Speech and Beyond, we recognize that parents know their child best, and your concerns are valid. If you feel your child would benefit from additional support, we are here to help. In private therapy, we focus on your child’s unique communication challenges and provide individualized strategies to help them thrive.

Yes! We offer small-group speech and language enrichment classes during the summer designed to help children maintain and strengthen the skills they've been working on in school. Families are welcome to share their child's IEP, and we will tailor activities to support their goals. No evaluation is necessary. Classes run in our office for five weeks on Wednesdays from July 2, 2025 to July 30, 2025. We offer sessions for ages 3-4 at 2:15PM and ages 5-6 at 3:15PM. We meet once a week for 45 minutes with small group sizes (2-5 children) to ensure individualized attention. Spots are limited! To secure your child's place, payment of $260 is required in full. Got a group of friends who want to join together? Let us know and we'll create a class time that works for you! Contact us today to sign up!

Session length and frequency depend on your child's needs and what works best for your family. Most children do well with 30 minute sessions twice per week, but other options include 45 minute sessions once a week or 60 minute sessions once a week. We'll find the best fit together!
-
We ask that caregivers stay in the building for the duration of their child's session. You're always welcome and encouraged to join us in the therapy room to learn strategies you can use at home. However, some children learn and engage best when a caregiver is nearby but not in the room, so waiting in the lobby may be the better option. Every child is different, and we'll work together to find what works best for your family.

We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule a session. If you need to make a change, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full fee for the session. We are happy to be flexible in cases of severe weather, illness, or true family emergencies.

Every child progresses at their own pace. The length of therapy depends on the nature of the communication challenge, consistency in attendance, and practice outside of sessions.
